Ingredient:
Poi Leaves (Malabar Spinach)-1 bundle
Garlic cloves-4-5
Onion -1
Tomato -1
Split Gram lentils -little/one fist
Red chilies -2-3
Salt - As per taste

Chhattisgarh Recipes Poi Bhaji Chana Dal (Malabar Spinach )
Soak a fistful Chana Dal (gram lentil).
Take a bundle of Poi leaves (Malabar Spinach ).Pluck the leaves and wash them .
Cut the leaves in fine pieces.
Take 4-5 chopped garlic cloves and Cut them in small pieces.
Also cut 1 tomato in pieces.

Lets heat 2 small spoons of edible oil in a pan .
Add chopped garlic, red chilies (1-2), Chopped onion and gram lentils (soaked in water for 10 minutes) in the hot oil .Cover and cook for 1 minute.

Malabar Spinach Recipe |
Now,transfer all the chopped Poi leaves (Malabar spinach) and spread the half a tea spoon salt above it,cover and cook it for 10 mins in medium flame.The chopped poi leaves/Bhaji are sticky in nature,so adding little water can be completely an option.

Once leaves are cooked and soft, add tomato pieces and let it cook for few secs.

When ,water become starts vaporizing from the pan, mix the leaves well and cook it for 2-5 min more, until poi leaves becomes dry .
Poi leaves are ready to serve with hot rice and daal.

सबसे पहले पोइ के पत्तों को अच्छी तरह से धोएँ,और पत्तों को बारीक काट लें। अब एक कड़ाई में तेल गरम करें। उसमें लहसुन के कटे हुए टुकड़े , लाल मिर्च, और १० मिनट पहले भीगी हुई चने की दाल को डाल दे ,और ढँक कर १ मिनट के लिए पकने दें। पोइ के कटे पत्तों को डालें औरआधा चम्मच नमक छिड़क कर ढक्कन लगा कर पकने दें । पोइ की पत्तियां थोड़ी चिपकने वाली और लसलसी होती है ,ज़रुरत पड़ने पर ही थोड़ा पानी डालें।
