Banana is one of the oldest and most consumed fruit across the Globe. In India banana is important part of religious rituals to food plate. The benefits of ripe banana is well known among all of us.

Today it becomes leading tropical fruit in the world market with a highly organized and developed industry. The production of fruits in Chhattisgarh, Banana rank first. The total production of Banana fruits in Chhattisgarh is 6.17 lakh metric tones. It is cultivated in almost all the districts in state. The major Banana growing districts are Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Mahasamund Bemetara.
